Materials used: metal easy to assemble garden beds with liners, rolled fencing, stakes, bricks, cinder blocks, rope, solar powered lights, zip ties, pad locks, watering can, garden stakes.
I also purchased a soil sampling kit and garden tools. As for soil I bought organic potting soil, organic mulch, and organic top soil all from Lowe’s. All of my seeds came from Burpee and other trusted seed companies. I purchased organic or heirloom seeds whenever possible.
For my DIY garden beds I used pine since research says that it will hold up better than plywood and costs less than redwood. I also used screws and small L brackets.

During the pandemic supplies were scarce and I was just getting started. I used particle board to allow me to continue to mound up the potatoes as they quickly outgrew the depth of the garden bed. I wanted to use grow bags but they never arrived.
My garden is behind my house sitting on existing slab to avoid critters from getting in.
I built these wooden trellises myself and saved a bundle!
Since this is my first ever garden I did my research online and also bought some books to refer to.
These are the garden beds I ordered and had to assemble.
