New Year, New You

Happy New Year! It's New Years Resolution time if you have not already done so. Each year we all make up a list of things we want to accomplish (goals) and for the most part we all fail to achieve those goals. Why is that? Did you take it one step further like you should and set up steps to meet each goal, did you forget to follow the plan, did you make excuses as to why you could not follow the plan? Let's make 2018 different from the rest. We will do this together. Here is the plan: make goals (fitness or otherwise) and write down the steps needed to achieve those goals. Next put a time frame as to when you must meet those goals by. Then move onto the next one. 1 year anniversary of our blog!

Welcome to our 1 year anniversary of our blog!* It is hard for us to believe, but we checked and we have had this blog up for one year now - where does the time go? We thought we would bring this to your attention as a motivator; a motivator to set goals and take steps to accomplish them. Who knew that we could continue to come up with stuff to write about so easily? Now for the difficult part. What do we do now? We met our first year goal of launching a new store and blog, maintaining our store inventory and running a blog. Each month we made a point of blogging at least once, mostly twice a month to keep those who found us online interested and engaged in what we had to say. Retailers force us into a frenzy to shop until we drop so we can find the best deals for gifts, but it doesn't have to be this way. Make a list of who to shop for. Once you have the list think about what they may want or need and set a budget for what you are willing to spend. Shop online to save time. Make time to visit with friends and family during the holidays and if possible thru out the year. Intro to Fitness: Each year as we enter into the winter season we begin to think about what we will do differently in the coming year. Most people say they will begin to exercise and diet and decide rather than doing it now while the thought is fresh in their minds, they push this off until "later". "Later" as they call it is usually January; perhaps just a few days past New Years day. More often than not it becomes February or worse May because they want to look good at the pool or beach. Others do far worse and never actually excercise (other than maybe once or twice and then stop).
