Stretch to Tone Your Physique

As I recover (slowly) from an old injury that got irritated and as a result worsened, I thought this would be the perfect time to discuss the power of stretching. Today I am not going to discuss a pre-workout stretch or a post stretch. Instead I am going to go over the importance of stretching to tone your physique. Resistance bands (also referred to as elastic bands) have been forever marketed as a great workout tool. Granted they are a form of exercise by definition, but let's face it most people do not think of this as a great workout tool. Instead most people think of lifting weights when they think of working out. However, if you are either lifting something heavy or even slightly heavy repeatedly (using sets and reps) or just using resistance instead of weights you will still get a workout.
